Lansdowne House, Department of Finance

Fit out of the 3rd and 4th floors of an existing 8-storey office building to provide a training facility and staff offices for the Department of Finance. The third floor comprises classrooms and offices arranged along 2 public corridors lit by borrowed natural light from white glass walls. The fourth floor also accommodates classrooms and offices, as well as a restaurant and kitchen serving the whole building. The project commenced in March 2000 was completed in May 2001.

The works also included a new restaurant, serving the entire building. The kitchen is made from brushed stainless steel units with polished steel and glass fronts. The kitchen and servery is open to the eating area.
